- Well, it depends on how he contracted asbestos poisoning. You (or whoever is your father's Executor) will have to contact a lawyer. They won't charge you for the consultation, and if they decide you have a case, it won't cost you any money up front. Their payment would come out of whatever money you were awarded.
- Yes you can. You father should have had a post mortem if he is suspected to have died due to asbestos poisoning. The findings from the post mortem can be used as evidence to back up your claim. Good luck.
- It may be possible, but you would need to discuss the case in detail with a lawyer.
- I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a loved one is never an easy thing. Just like any type of litigation, mesothelioma cases also have time constraints involved. While I cannot give you legal advice directly, I would definitely suggest that you contact an experienced mesothelioma attorney immediately to discuss your options. Here is a great website where you can learn about mesothelioma litigation and can contact a lawyer directly. http://www.resource4mesothelioma.com I hope this helps.
