Is Condoleezza Rice serving the President, or our Country?

It is not the same thing. Diplomacy seems to be suffering while our troubles with N. Korea, Russia, Iran and China get worse. Should Dr. Rice be negotiating, or just mouthing Bush's ideas? How can we diffuse the powder keg when many of us rate a poor porformance by the Secretary of State? It was intentionally disrespectful of me to use "mouthing Bush's ideas". I find it impossible to respect the man sitting in our beautiful Oval Office because he has had some of the worst Ideas in the history of our country. And, I am not alone in that estimation of his performance.

  1. What can ya do? We've only got one more year to deal with his bulsh!t, then we'll have to deal with another president's bulsh!t because you know a democrat's not winning.
  2. Are you sure rice is a her? To me rice looks like an He! If it looks like a truck than it must be atruck. Rice walk and talks like a man, so....... I don't know if I am breaking any guideline here so I better shutup before I say anythins silly 'cos the big brother is watching.
  3. She's a representative of the executive branch of the United States government. If that's "mouthing Bush's ideas" -- that's the way it's supposed to be.
  4. Mouthing Bushes Ideas, How disrespectful to the office of the president, But to answer your question, yes she is conveying the wishes of the president as is her job,In foreign policy matters, our nation as do most nations speak with a single voice, and that voice is the presidents. We as Americans have an opportunity every four years to change that voice,If desired.
  5. She is serving our country. N. Korea is now working to shutdown the nuclear plant without a shot fired. Lets us not forget Congress who stab her in the back with that little resolution that now has Turkey mad at us.
  6. Dr. Rice, now Secretary of State, is a foreign policy adviser to George W. Bush, the most cynical and dangerous president in the modern history of the United States. Condoleezza Rice, like the President, Vice President Cheney, Defense Secretary Rumsfeld and Secretary of State Powell is responsible for an invasion of Iraq that has increased hatred in the Arab and Muslim world against the United States, ruined relationships with our allies, and destroyed the infrastructure of an already oppressed and impoverished land in order to benefit corporations with direct connections to the Bush administration. My opinion of her is no higher than my opinion of any other administration official, which is off the chart to the negative side.
  7. So she serves at the PLEASURE of the president.
