my baby just started drinking rice cereal with her milk about 2 weeks ago. seh has been crying so much?

her colic has gotten veryyy bad,, do u think it could be the rice cereal causing this?? i am using dr brown bottles and burping her very well.. she is farting more than usual accually alot!!!!!! non stop and has been crying all day.

Don't ever put cereal in a baby's bottle. Stop the rice cereal and see if she improves. Talk to your doctor.
why don't you stop giving her the cereal and see if she feels better. really shouldn't give it to her to drink. wait until she is about 4.5 months and then gradullay start cereal with a baby spoon. 2 t. about every 3-4 hours
Don't put cereal in bottle unless Dr. says so for something like projectile vomiting due to acid reflux. And YES....positively could be the rice cereal. How old is she? Since colic tends to fade a lot by month 3...I am assuming she is too little to even have the stuff. With an already colicky baby, excess gas (caused by an immature GI systems inability to digest cereal properly) is going to make her life and yours pure hell =( Keep using the Brown's bottles, stop the cereal...Is she formula fed and if so what kind?
The rice cereal may be giving a upset stomach and making her really gassy. I would stop the cereal and call her pediatrician and see what they say. Good Luck:)
OK...DONT PLEASE DONT PUT CEREAL EVER IN THE BOTTLE THAT IS SOOOOOO BAD. LAZY PEOPLE DO THAT...AND YOU SHOULDNT GIVE CEREAL UNTIL 6 MONTHS OLD. THEIR LITTLE SYSTEM ISNT COMPLETELY DEVELOPED YET FOR IT. YOU NEED TO SPOON FEEDN HER THE CEREAL ITS THE WHOLE REASON IS TO SHOW THEM TO USE THE SPOON. START WITH MORE WATERY CEREAL AND BUILD UP THICKNESS......AND IT SOUNDS LIKE IF SHE IS CRYING SO MUCH SHE IS EITHER ALLERGIC OR CONSTIPATED . How old is she? I just started giving my baby cereal but I used the barley instead of the rice cereal b/c it would give her a stomach ache. And I would spoon feed it to her and give her only milk in her bottle.....
it's giving her a stomache ache.have you been putting it in every bottle? she really should only eat about two tablespoons of cereal mixed with formula from a bowl and a spoon not in her bottle. and you should start out only giving it to her once a day for the first little while. and always give it to her the same time of day each day. her little tummy has to get used to things gradually. she might also have an allergy to the cereal. there are so many factors that could be contributing. she could have a sensitive tummy. I would discuss things with her doctor. good luck, i hope she feels better.
You should not put cereal in her bottle. If she is not old enough to eat it with a spoon she is not ready for rice cereal.
Probably because you're not supposed to put cereal into bottles (there's a risk of the baby aspirating it) and because babies aren't supposed to start pablum before 4 months. You should talk to your doctor before doing things like this.
Please DO NOT put cereal in a bottle for your baby at any age! Why are you doing this? If it is due to spitting up please use a formula that is thickened already especially for relux babies and ones who spit up (called Enfamil A+ Thickened or AR Lipil). After your baby is over 6 months you can introduce cereal on a SPOON.
