- This is essentially nonsurvivable. Contact a lawyer now, as the compensation for damages may be much higher while he is still alive rather than later.
- This is from the National Cancer Institite (NCI) website, which is quite good and reputable. http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/treatment/malignantmesothelioma/patient/ This is a difficult disease to treat successfully, although there are some improvements in the chemotherapy given for this disease. Best bet would be to look into clinical trial options locally; could also look into clinical trials at NCI in Bethesda, Maryland. Advantage there is that they frequently have clinical trials for tough diseases, and also if he is enrolled on a trial there, they will cover ALL expenses, including air travel if needed. See here http://www.cancer.gov/clinicaltrials/search God bless, and best wishes

- I found these links for you. I am sorry for what your grandfather is going through. My Dad is a cancer survivor and I completely understand how hard it is to watch someone suffer from this awful disease. http://womans-health.net/mesothelioma/Diagnosing-Mesothelioma.php
