Is the ceiling above you smooth or lumpy?

The lumpy stuff contains Asbestos, Which is bad! It causes serious illnesses, including mesothelioma

17. its lumpy, and ive been living under ceilings like this my entire life, and im as healthy as anybody. so i dont think there is any asbestos in there, or at least not a lethal level.
18. both, mine is so old its fallin apart are you sure its asbestos? im pretty sure mine is just a crappy paint job :D

21. thanks doc. smooth with thin texture. the lumpy stuff, spray with water bottle and scrape off. No asbestos.

28. smooth but textured...its a drop ceiling so its the large tile kind and FYI ya'll asbestos is VERY dangerous BUT only if it is disturbed.....if it isnt broken or torn into its safe an asbestos ceiling that is smooth & without breaks & damage will not hurt you still my house has smooth non asbestos ceilings & I wouldnt have it any other way

41. its lumpy. that kind of sharp thing. if you ever had a bunk bed and slept on the top bunk and hit your hand on the ceiling it like makes you bleed. but it looks good i guess.
