Building leg muscles?
My Auntie has Mesothelioma Cancer, has lost a lot of weight and for some reason her legs are giving way and occasionally she falls. Does anyone know an easy way to build leg muscles because she is very fragile?? Please anyone, we are desperate!

- I am working on building my leg muscles up by wearing tall shoes. The higher heel makes you use your leg muscles more. I started out with a one inch heel, am now working on shoes with a three inch heel, and then I have a pair of platform boots that are 7 inches tall but the heel angle is equal to 4 inches. Clearly I am already into taller shoes anyways - a lil on the younger side and short. However, it is totally helping. I believe the more conventional way to do this would be ankle weights - start out small and work her way up. Walking is an excellent way. Or what I call 'leg ups'. Stand and sort of walk in place, but raise your leg as far as you can, kind of more like marching in place I guess. And climbing stares - either real stares or a stare stepper machine. Some aerobic exercises deal with leg strength. And some water exercises could help as well. However, speak to a doctor before doing anything. Make sure that it is simply an issue of being weak, and that she is healthy enough to be doing this stuff.
